Have the best pints and whiskey on private pub tour

Immerse yourself in the convivial spirit of Dublin at its Victorian pubs, Teeling Distillery, hidden cocktail bars, and, of course, the Guinness Brewery. On this epic pub tour, you'll also pass historical sights to get oriented on your first day in the city.

Meet your guide for a full-day tour of Dublin

Today, you'll dive into the fascinating history, geography, and architecture of Ireland's capital city alongside an expert guide. Highlights include St. Patrick's Cathedral, O'Connell Street, the Book of Keels in Trinity College, City Hall, and the General Post Office.

Eat your way through the city on a Dublin Secret Food Tour

Discover the city's authentic pubs, cafes, gourmet food shops, and markets where you're likely to brush shoulders with local Dubliners. Along the way, you'll savor a traditional Irish breakfast and sample artisanal cheese, ice cream, and more. And because no Irish food tour is complete with a drink, you'll pair the tastings with an Irish cream liqueur.

Explore the Guinness Brewery and Jameson Irish Whiskey Distillery with your guide

The Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery are two of the most popular spots to visit for first-time and repeat travelers to Dublin alike. On this tour, you'll skip the lines and avoid the crowds as your guide explains the complex brewing and distilling process. At the end, you'll enjoy a beer and whiskey tasting.

Day 4-5

Kilkenny

1.5 - 2 hour drive from Dublin to Kilkenny

Head to Richenda and Michael's for a cooking demo and dinner at their historic home

Once you arrive at Richenda and Michael's historic home, you'll be treated to a warm cup of coffee or tea with biscuits or scones. From there, Richenda will whisk you into the kitchen, where you'll watch her cook an authentic, multiple-course Irish meal with time-honored recipes that have been passed down through the generations. As she prepares traditional Irish stew, brown soda bread (her mother's recipe), and a soup or dessert, she'll bring you through her secret tips and techniques. The experience will conclude, of course, by sitting down to share the meal together.

Spend your day exploring small towns and historic castles on a private tour

On this private tour, you'll discover must-see historical sites of Kilkenny while meeting local artists and artisans. The tour will start at the 15th-century Burnchurch Tower House before continuing on to the Kells Priory ruins, Jerpoint Glass (a handmade glassware studio run by Kathleen and Keith Leadbetter), Jerpoint Abbey, Cushendale Woolen Mill (with natural textiles made from Galway sheeps wool, mohair, and lambswool), Mosse Pottery, and more.

Day 6-8

Cork

1.5 - 2 hour drive from Kilkenny to Cork

Accommodation in Cork

Suggested options (actual bookings will vary based on pricing and availability)

Embark on a food and history tour of Cork

On this walking tour of Cork city, you guide will bring you through the gastronomic history of the city, which dates back to the era of the Vikings. You'll start at the City Art Gallery, where merchants once lived and traded everything from butter to meat and whiskey. From there, you'll explore The English Market, meet some of its traders, and enjoy food tastings.

Embark on a private tour of Wild Atlantic Way, Kinsale, & Timoleague Abbey

On this private tour of Cork's coastal forts and medieval towns, you'll explore Wild Atlantic Way, West Cork, Kinsale, and more. And because all transportation is handled for you, all you have to do is enjoy the scenery, snap some photos at the stunning lookout points, and take in the commentary from your expert guide.

Meet your guide for a private smokehouse tasting and smoked salmon tour

During this experience, Anthony—a charming Irishman with a dry sense of humor—will welcome you to The Ummera Smokehouse, where he organically smokes farmed salmon from Ireland's west coast. During the tour, you'll learn how he wet-cures his salmon and how oak sawdust lends a smooth flavor to the fish. At the end, you'll gather around an outdoor farm table to taste a variety of smoked foods along with three local ciders brewed by Anthony's brother-in-law at Stonewell Cider.
