Amsterdam: Andreas Trussat Yoga
It’s all about inspiring, high-quality classes in a restful environment at the exclusive Andreas Trussat yoga studio in the museum quarter. One-on-one or group classes include meditation, mindfulness, Ashtanga yoga, yin yoga, partner yoga, and core training. Private classes start at 100 euros, and drop-in group classes start at 20 euros.
Athens: Bhāvanā Yoga Center
Bhavana Yoga Center is an excellent yoga studio with experienced teachers and dynamic classes. The studio is bright and clean with a cozy waiting area, beautiful wooden floors, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. Classes are primarily based on the Anusara method, but they also offer gentle yoga, acroyoga, aerial swing yoga, and pilates. Mats are available from the studio but bring your own towel.
Yogatique is one of Bangkok’s premier yoga studios, known for their unique philosophy of working the body from the inside out. They offer an array of styles under one roof, combining postures from Iyengar, Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga yoga to achieve the ultimate mind-body connection. Each class incorporates different elements such as chanting, Dharma talk, or Rock and Roll music — with both 60 and 90-minute practices offered throughout the day.
Barcelona: Yoga Con Gracia
Yoga Con Gràcia is housed in a spacious former factory near Plaça de la Virreina. London: Yogahaven - Hot Yoga Islington
Yogahaven studio teaches a unique style of hot yoga called “leela,” meaning “play" in Sanskrit. Their classes are notoriously invigorating and fun, set in a spacious and light-filled studio replete with thoughtful quotes from renowned Yogis and international changemakers. Drop in for the morning Hot Vinyasa Flow, Hot Yoga Basics, or Hot Yoga Fusion practices, which range from 60-90 minutes (£16). Take your shoes off at the door; prepare to feel refreshed and inspired.
Veronika Karac Yoga is a surreal Santorini retreat. The classes take place on the breezy outdoor terrace of the Caveland Hostel, which offers breathtaking views of the local village and cerulean blue ocean. Veronika's yoga practice is inspired by Hatha yoga and flow; she aims to combine active poses with breathing and centering exercises in order to bring mindfulness and body awareness.
Take a yoga class with Shinobu Nakano on the 2nd floor of this esteemed yoga studio. The 11:00am class, for beginner and intermediate yogis, focuses on dynamic yoga flow, with special attention to alignment, breath awareness, and mindfulness. Please note: You must take a beginner class before taking any experienced classes at this studio. The drop-in price is 2,500 yen.
